So, these are some symptoms of it which I found online: Daydreaming excessively in a way that is often compared to an addiction. This excessive daydreaming often begins in childhood. Books, movies, music, video games, and other media may be a daydreaming trigger. The daydreaming itself is often detailed and elaborate, sometimes compared to a movie or novel. Repetitive movements while daydreaming are common (pacing, rocking, spinning, shaking something in their hand, etc.) Some people will lie in bed for hours daydreaming, and may either have difficulty going to sleep because of this, or have difficulty getting out of bed once awake. They may sometimes talk, laugh, cry, gesture, or make facial expressions as they daydream. People suffering from this know the difference between daydreaming and reality, and do not confuse the two; this makes them distinctly different from psychotics or schizophrenics. Daydreaming causes difficulties in their lives, or prevents them from fully functioning in their day-to-day life. - I have pretty much all of these but, my question is, well.. because it's called "daydreaming" does that mean you do it only like.. when you're up and about e.g- walking to school or something? Because for me, I mainly do it when I'm trying to get to sleep, I can't help it, I get insomnia so it's something that helps me pass by hours of just laying in bed. But if I'm reading a book during the day or something, yeh, that still triggers it, but I mainly keep it for night when I have a bit of trouble sleeping. Does anyone else feel more comfortable with it at night? Also, has anyone got treatment for it? ;z if so, what's it like? Does it help? I'd really just like to know a bit more about it.. I'm only 13 so, please don't use too many big words?;3 LOL I only found out the name of it yesterday, after around 3 / 4 years so, I still need to check if it really is what I have, so if anyone knows of any similar conditions.. please tell me:)...
